Stratocaster pickups set - inspired by Mr. Van Halen´s Frankenstrat guitar.
Vintage correct PAF style pickup in the bridge position:
- black BUTYRATE bobbins with 49,2mm spacing. The pickup has to be installed at a slight angle to compensate for the differing string spacings of the Fender tremolo and the Gibson humbucker(49,2mm).
- AWG42 PLAIN ENAMEL WIRE ( HOT / overwound - 8,5kOhm @ 20°C)
- LONG LEGS on the nickel silver base plate. These long legs are too long for your regular strat - you need deeper bridge pickup cavity to install this pickup. Total height of this pickup with LONG LEGS is approx. 27mm. If you want SHORT LEGS and/or F-SPACED bridge pickup send us a message and we will work it out. Each pickup is built to order.
Eddies`s humbucker bridge pickup was mounted directly to the wood/body of the guitar. To install this pickup to the wood you will have to re-drill the mounting holes on the baseplate so they can accept wood screws. We can do that for you - you can leave a note at the checkout page or send us a message.

- 13kOhm DC resistance @20°C
- hand wound Elektrisola AWG 43 gauge wire
- red vulcanized fiber bobbin flatwork with brass eyelets
- Alnico 5 polepieces
- cloth covered push-back wire, wax potted(paraffin and bee`s wax).
- the coil is protected with black cloth pickup tape.
